SMS Messaging & Consent

How AppointmentFlow.ai collects consent to send SMS, and what messages users receive.

AppointmentFlow.ai sends SMS notifications only to its own registered users — paid business customers and registered referring real-estate agents — about activity on their own accounts. We do not send SMS to consumers, prospects, or anyone we do not have a prior business relationship with. Every recipient explicitly opts in through a web-based signup form before any message is sent.

How consent is collected

Both signup flows below use an explicit, unchecked-by-default consent checkbox. The form's submit button remains disabled until the user actively checks the box — consent is never implied by form submission alone. The exact consent language shown to the user and the timestamp of their agreement are recorded on our servers.

Opt-in 1 — Business owners (AI receptionist customers)

A business owner creates an account and, during step 3 of the onboarding flow at appointmentflow.ai/onboarding, enters their mobile number and agrees to the following:

The checkbox is unchecked by default. The button above stays disabled until the user actively checks the box.

This page is reached only after the user has created an account, so it is not publicly navigable — the consent UI above is reproduced here verbatim for review purposes.

Opt-in 2 — Referring real-estate agents

A real-estate agent registers on the public page at appointmentflow.ai/for/realtors and agrees to the following:

The checkbox is unchecked by default. The button above stays disabled until the user actively checks the box.

This signup form is on a public page and can be viewed directly at the URL above.

Messages users receive

After opting in, business owners receive a text summary each time their AI receptionist answers a call. Referring agents receive a text when a client they referred calls one of their vendors. Example messages:
